Claddagh Tattoo
The Claddagh is an Irish symbol of love and friendship. Typically, the claddagh consists of two hands, a heart and a crown. The two hands represent friendship, the crown loyalty, and the heart, of course, love. The origin of the modem icon engagement can actually go back some 400 years to a small fishing village with the same name in the Galway Bay region of Ireland.
